Embassy Theater Voter Rights Film Series

A showing of the movie Selma on 1/20 and an opportunity to connect with local organizations who work on voter registration and Get Out the Vote. This includes League of Women Voters, Allen County NAACP, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter and the Embassy Theatre.

This is first in a series of films commemorating the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.  From January-August, 2020 the Embassy will present a series of six films that inspire us and spark conversation.

This series seeks to encourage civic involvement and get out the vote efforts. It is co-sponsored with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Alumni, Allen County NAACP and League of Women Voters of Fort Wayne.

Future Dates:  2/16 – Malcom X, 3/22 – 9 to 5, 5/10 – Mary Poppins, 6/7 – Milk, 8/16-Suffragette

The Embassy Theatre 2020 Film Series is offered FREE and open to the public,
in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment,
guaranteeing and protecting women’s constitutional right to vote.
