Flashes Suffrage Symposium: Celebrating Women

January 23, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

3:00 pm

With the 7-panel exhibit from the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial we have been awarded to display, we will host a panel discussion, refreshments and interactive stations of remarkable women that have contributed to our community.  Included will be a “sash making” station with a white dress on a mannequin and a purple sash on it (like the original Suffragists wore)!  Student moderators will host a panel of remarkable women including Principal Jenni Matasovsky, School Board members, Franklin Township Historical Society members, and the most-winning coach in our district, Coach Kathy Stricker!   Special guest will be Ms. Florabel Willsey, most-tenured FCHS alumni who turns 100 in 2020! Join us at this all-inclusive event by entering Main Door 1 at Franklin Central, and be our guest!
