Although Helen Gougar resided in Lafayette, her remarkable impact as a lawyer, a temperance movement leader, and a strong advocate for women’s rights resonated across Indiana. Jonathan Fisher, who owns the Helen Gougar house at 914 Columbia Street, is welcoming us to Helen’s house to hear his story about the intriguing life of Helen Gougar.
