Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial Educator Workshop

Grades 6 – 12: 2 – 5 p.m.

Interested in incorporating curriculum for your classroom that highlight’s Indiana’s suffrage history? Attend one of these half-day workshops to get insight into the work of impactful Hoosiers who worked hard to help gain the women’s right to vote. At this free workshop, Indiana educators will receive curriculum, books, websites and other resources that will offer a variety of ways students can explore this important milestone. These materials will also assist teachers in helping to make connections with the continued fight for voting rights today. Light refreshments will be offered and educators can earn professional growth points for attending. These events are free for Indiana educators. To register, please call 317.232.1637.
