November 10, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

7:00 pm
Delve into the history of the women’s suffrage movement in Indiana by attending this 2-part virtual celebration.

Join Wayne County Women’s Suffrage Centennial Task Force on Tuesday, November 10th for Part 2 of our virtual Suffrage Celebration: Raising a Ruckus. We will learn how our tenacious Wayne County Suffragists continued the fight for the Women’s Right to Vote until the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920. Meet Esther Griffin White and William Dudley Foulke, two important figures in the Wayne County Suffragist Movement and learn about women of color and their continuing story as it relates to the fight for Women’s Suffrage. The program will bring this vital movement into the present as we celebrate the right and continued fight for all voices to be heard. Please join us in Raising a Ruckus as we celebrate our Suffrage Centennial!
