We Must Be Fearless: The Woman’s Suffrage Movement in Indiana by Anita Morgan is a popular history of the women’s suffrage movement in Indiana and tells the story of the sixty-nine-year struggle for the right to vote in the state. The people who acted, what they did, and the results of their efforts are the focus. Through this story, it also places the state’s women more firmly in the history of Indiana, the Midwest, and the nation. Author Anita Morgan will present her continuing research for the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial in honor of the release of her new book.
