The Suffrage Tree at the Indiana Historical Society’s Festival of Trees

The Propylaeum will present “The Suffragists’ Gift,” a themed tree celebrating the contributions of Indiana women involved in the Women’s Suffrage Movement. The Propylaeum’s founder May Wright Sewall, and others will be highlighted in framed photos filling a tree decorated in appropriate colors of purple, white, and gold.

The popular Festival of Trees at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center returns November 15 – January 4, a wonderland of over 80 elaborately themed holiday trees sponsored by various Indianapolis organizations.

IHS Hours:

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday
Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday
Open until 8 p.m. Dec. 16 through 23
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
